Importance of Leadership

 

Leadership is an accomplishment, a goal through the direction of human assistance. Great Leaders help themselves and others to do the right things. Worldwide it is said that leadership is an art of leading a group of people to act towards achieving a common goal. Effective leaders provide clarity of purpose, motivate & lead an organization or a team to realize its objective. A Leader has a clear vision of the objective and the goal. They provide guidance and use their potentials to achieve the goals. A true leader refrains from recognition and focusses only on the motive of the group. 

The good leader is self-aware and prioritizes personal development. A leader is honest, enthusiastic & an extrovert and his main focus is on the group and the groups progress. A leader possesses a charisma of leading a group in any situation. He is emotionally stable & sensitive to have an ability to select the right people for the right task which is one of the most preferred qualities of a leader. A Good leader possesses a dynamic vision and is creative and knowledgeable about a wide range of information. The leader is curious, multi-directional thinker, social, energetic & people loving.

  • Authoritarian leadership.
  • Delegative leadership.
  • Participative leadership.
  • Transactional leadership.
  • Transformational leadership.

Traits of a Leader

  • A good Leader provides a clear direction & purpose and empowers his leaders to achieve their goal.
  • Identifies potential leaders in the group and develop them into leaders.
  • Is responsible for his decision & action and the results of the group.
  • Creates an environment of trust and bonding within the group.
  • Prioritizes on personal development.
